Matthew Ashby of the CfA described the SPHEREx mission to 7th- and 8th-grade students at Somerville's JFK Elementary School, as part of an annual outreach event organized by CfA NSF postdoctoral scholar Joel Leja. At this fun event Ashby, along with seven other CfA scientists representing a wide variety of disciplines, presented their work to about 150 students that moved between posters in small groups.
